No the original Noah was much earlier - they were roughly contemporary with King David.

BTW- while I don't believe the literal Biblical account of Noah it does seem to have been based on a real flood - only it was just the rivervalley between the Tigris and Euphadies.

The Trojan War would have taken place after the time of Noah.

"Since the Trojan War was considered among the ancient Greeks as either the last event of the mythical age or the first event of the historical age, several dates are given for the fall of Troy. They usually derive from genealogies of kings. Ephorus gives 1135 BC, Sosibius 1172 BC, Eratosthenes 1184 BC/1183 BC, Plato 1193 BC, the Parian marble 1209 BC/1208 BC ,Dicaearchus 1212 BC, Herodotus around 1250 BC, Eretes 1291 BC while Douris 1334 BC. As for the exact day Ephorus gives 23/24 Thargelion (July 6 or 7), Hellanicus 12 Thargelion (May 26) while others give the 23rd of Sciroforion (July 7) or the 23rd of Ponamos (October 7)"

According to scripture historians, the great flood occurred around 2244 B.C.

The bible is what I call 'popular fiction'....popular because alot of ppl read and believe it....fiction because it is false. Achilles and Hercules were around long, long before the 'supposed' time of Noah. Not only is the earth much older than 6000yrs....but civilizations and organized religions far outdate the bible as well.

The scriptures place Noah's ark at about 2000 BC. Homer's writings place Archilles and Hercules at about 500BC. So they were not born at the time of Noah.

rofl. No, they were much older than that. Of course, Christians will deny that because it would mean their bible is wrong.
