My stupied x-boyfriend is so full of himself, and thinks that all women dress up and wear makeup and show a little celevage just to attract a man so we can get our rocks off with him. I disagree. I dress up etc.. so I can feel good about myself and be more confident. What do you think?

No, I dress up and wear makeup to feel good about myself mainly, not to impress others whether they be men or women. I just don't feel as confident for some reason when I don't dress as well

i agree with you...at the moment im not interested in looking for a relationship at all but i do still dress up most of the time and that is only to feel good about myself and have confidence, only prostitutes overdress to get it on with a guy. When i wear sweats and have no makeup on...unfortunately i do not feel positive about myself. So for all you guys who think we are just dressing up ONLY to impress you, you are so wrong.

I agree with you. I love to get all dressed up because I like the way I look and it makes me feel great about myself. I don't get all dressed up just attract a man.

I agree with you! I think that the girls who dress up just to impress a guy are just desperate. I mean, I like to dress up, but not always for a guy. I want to wear what I want to wear, and if that means dressing up, then okay!! You should wear what makes you feel comfortable, not what makes a guy attracted to you!

Yea it sounds like your x-boyfriend needs to pull his head out of his @ss No offense to him or anything but sometimes guys can be so damn concieted and thats all they think is that when we dress up we always dress up for other men to look at. Yea thats a little out there so i agree with you sweety your x is wrong in this. I dress up to have more confidents in myself not for any guy.

Men are so self centered sometimes. Its not all about them! True, its partly to look good for guys. We like to look good and we like attention sometimes. Is that such a bad thing?
But really, its for us. Personally, I like to put on makeup and look nice so I feel nice. I like to feel attractive and confident. Also, if I don't put makeup on and get ready I feel a little lazy the whole day. It kind of wakes me up.
Tell your ex to stop thinking everything we do is to please men!

Girl that's the reason why I dress up. My bf say the same thing, I was dressing like that before I meet him and I'm going to keep dressing like that after he is gone. Y'all are not married so he has no say so about how you dress. You dressed like that when you meet him, so he knew. Girl don't worried about him, men are crazy.

Nope. I wear band t-shirts, skinny jeans and converse. I wear my hair either wavy or straight. The only girly thing I do is wear a lot of eye liner, because it looks good on me, or a little bit of mascara. But mostly for myself.

I think wearing make up or fixing your hair is for us to make us feel better, but honestly if you have cleavage showing, it isn't for you, it is for the men looking at it.
