6C02+6H20+sunlight= C6H1206+ 602 is the equation for photosynthesis water is taken in the the stomatal openings in the plants, CO2 is also let out here. the sunlight essentially "excites" electrons which causes chemiosmosis to occur so molecules can be pumped against their proton gradient without ATP. this makes the calvin cycle to occur..... ya its sooooo long go on wiki. sorry. it would be better info to!
