because Rising up, Succeeding and Building all require effort. I can sit on my couch and fail, fall, and break, but I cannot sit on my counce and do those other three things.
in regards to success vs failure, Success is generally a self determined idea composed of a level that one wants to meet. that is typically why success is so hard to achieve, some people just put some very high expectations upon themselves, and thus expect more of others too..

cuase its easier to do wrong than to do right
doing right many times requires patience
and many people today are not interested in patience.
