habits take about 3 weeks to create and 6 weeks to break...your habit is not so horrible...think of this..germs on your fingers...if everytime you catch yourself scratching your teeth with that dirty fingernail of yours and be grossed out by it and rush into the restroom and brush your teeth, floss, rinse to rid the germs from your mouth...force yourself to do this everytime you realize what you are doing...and if you are in public, excuse yourself and quietly go to the nearest restroom and brush the heck out of your teeth...yes carry a toothbrush in your pocket...there are travel size toothbrushes and toothbrush holders...no one needs to know about your problem or that your always carrying a toothbrush...so if you make your self sick thinking about the horrible germs you are putting in your mouth to the extreme that it makes you want to go brush...so what if your family finds out your brushing all the time...if they don't like that tough!!! they can just deal with it...at least your doing something good...obcessing over a clean mouth is a better habit than sticking germy fingers in your mouth....did you know you can get herpes, and warts from your finger from touching most anything anywhere...and did you know that over 40% of all college girls have warts....think about how many more guys have them? To have warts removed
from inside your mouth or your private parts where they always end up... is one of the most painful surgeries especially in the anus. Wash your hands before using the restroom and after using the restroom...even when you're at home! Truly takes a full 6 weeks to break a bad habit...dilligence and determination will get you that freedom...it is hard...but you have to gross yourself out to do it...if the thought of germs don't do it for you...think of the horrible surgery you could end with if you do not break the habit.

Mind over matter. Just stop it. Try some meditation. Take a class in buddhist meditation.
