No. The hot water is actually good for you as it relaxes your muscles and can help keep you from getting sore if you pushed it a bit too much.
However, if you worked out a lot and did not replace your fluids as much as you should have, you need to drink a tall glass of water before you get in. The hot water combined with a bit of dehydration can make you woozy. If I shower directly after a hard workout, I like to take a bottle of water into the the bathroom with me, just in case.

Sometimes it can be, make sure to do a cool down workout thing first, then relax for a little while, then feel free to take a bath when the muscles are more relaxed.

Not at all, many gyms have a health suite attached and recommend a dip in a hot Jacuzzi.Though I tend to find that a shower is both more refreshing and relaxing however.

Not at alll--and it certainly will make you more socially acceptable! :)
BUT--what you should NOT do is jump right in the shower right after a good workout. Take time to cool down properly and stretch. Otherwise, you greatly increase your risk of injury--and jumping straight into a shower will cool you off way too fast, even if its a hot one.

Avoid taking a cold shower after getting all hot. This can shock the nerves, and after years of doing this, it can lead to leg problems (example- if you're standing on the cold floor). Or you can try waiting about thirty minutes for your body to cool down if you're going to use cold.
