I have used it with excellent results. You could not see any scar. However, I started putting it on right after the cut closed up. Also, I take the vitamin E capsules and break them open and put the vitamin right on it. I used the 400 IU capsules. I do not use a cream. I bet the creams have one capsule worth of vitamin E in entire bottle of cream. I do not know if it will help after 9 months. You can use it on the next serious cut you get.

Yes, Vitamin E oil or cream can be applied to the skin in the affected areas, every day .The cream should be applied overnight. Aloe Vera gel and fresh lemon juice can be applied to the scars, so that they fade quickly. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks or scars at the link below.

Vit E isn't all that magic to totally take away scar tissue.
Take some vit E orally and also use the oil on your scar. Seems like it both ways helps.
"Vitamin E is found in plants, animals and in some green, brown and blue/green algae. The richest sources of the vitamin are found in unrefined edible vegetable oil, including wheat germ, safflower, sunflower, cottonseed, canola and olive oils. In these oils, approximately 50% of the tocopherol content is in the form of alpha-tocopherol. Soybean and corn oils contain about ten times as much gamma-tocopherol as they do alpha-tocopherol. Palm, ricebran and coconut oils are rich sources of tocotrienols. Alpha-tocopherol is the major form of vitamin E in animal products and is found mainly in the fatty portion of the meat. Other foods containing vitamin E include unrefined cereal grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables."

The answer is no...Some scar tissues never leave completely, they only fade. Too many vitamins can harm you.

Use the 100% vitamin E lotion from a GNC. It should be a clear lotion. It works. Use it 5 times a day minimum.

wont help much. Scar skin needs to be peeled off and applying medicine or lab skin cells over new open area of skin. Dematologist can help this.
