Keep your mind clear and don't fall asleep. Also, do not panic or get excited when you feel yourself lift out of your body.
If you never tried this before, don't get discouraged if it didn't work. It takes a lot of practice and very very few people get it to work their first try.

Be very careful because there is a tendancy for the soul to become so entrenched in the freedom of being disincorporated that it doesn't wish to return. If the silver cord is severed your body will expire. If you don't succeed don't let it work its way into your psyche but make sure you're certain of your ability to project and return. Sometimes it helps to have an alarm clock set at 5 minutes from the time you choose to project. This will signal your soul to return. Good luck and again, please be careful

Try it, but to be successful takes a lot of practice. Project your yahoo name and I'll see if I recognize you out there. Watch out for the asteroid belt, of course. Avoid Venus, nasty place.

Meditate. Concentrate your chi through your third eye which should be on your forehead and release it outside your body. You should be able to see yourself behind you. Place a marker on or near you body to guide you back when you are done.

You really should read a good book instead. It would be much more productive.

do a lot more study before you try this.
learn the dangers and risks. and how to return safely if you become lost.
if you happen to meet Cerunuuos, and he offers to show you a path, when it splits, always take the one that appears more dangerous.

Yes use the buds. the leaves don't work as good, roll you one about cigar size and smoke it down half way before you try.
