Ok so me and alot of my freinds like to do MMA fighting except without knees or elbows involved as they do too much damage. The kid i'm fighting is a few inches shorter than me and his face is right where my heel lands when i do my front kick. Also I can box and strike better than he can, i've got another head kick just like Crocops except i use my right leg.But he's alot stronger than me, can punch harder and has a few years wrestling experience. I barely know any BJJ or Grappling and i have a nack for getting taken to the ground and TKO'd because they sit on my arms. How can i escape when they sit across my chest and arms? And any good techniques to use , boxing, grappling , evasions from a rear naked choke anything please.

Stay on you feet.

If he is shorter, then odds are his arm are shorter too. Use your reach as an advantage. Keep your distance, If he strikes with power evade and rely on counter striking, allow him to use more energy.

Also when on the ground or grappling. If you wind up on top extend your body, as your center of gravity moves outward, lifting you will require more energy. It is almost impossible to toss someone off you if they have your body crossed. When they sit on you fight it off early or you are screwed, the more energy you waste, the less likely you are to win. If you are pinned use your legs to intimidate them. THey will likely move forward, when they do use your legs to buck. Remember, arms tire quicker and aren't nearly as strong as your legs.

If he is shorter a good trick is to get him to double over (with a stomach shot). When bent (at waist) grab him by neck in reverse headlock (he should be looking at ground behind you back). Then extend your legs back wards (to avoid being picked up), let him tire himself out trying to break the move, then as he tires slip arm around his neck and jerk upwards violently. He should be tapping in seconds.

While on feet another good technique is to grab his shirt and push through him, forcing him off balance and to back peddle. After a few steps, brace yourself and jerk backwards in one quick movement. He should lose all balance, pull him forward (so he lands on front) then fall on him immediately spread out weight forcing him to tire himself out trying to get dominant position.

If all these tricks fail. Kick him in the nuts and hope you run faster. (jks)

Without actually showing you it will be pretty hard to explain in plain text. If doing wrestling or jujitsu I have notice two things. If you are attacking you want to keep the distance between your oponent and you as close as possible. If defending you want to keep the distance between you and your opponent as far away as possible. According to what you say it seems that you are good at the stand up game. I will suggest to use that to your advantage. The person who wins is the one that can keep the fight where he/she is more comfortable and has dominance. For example, when dealing with a striker, is better to clinch or take him to the ground because eventually he will nail you. The opposite is also true. If Both of you are pretty much balance then try to find out which position you are better than your opponent and try to keep the fight there. Thats what Chuck Liddel does. He keeps the fight standing because he knows that sooner or later he'll get you and knock you out. Tito Ortiz prefers taking you to the ground and ground and pound you because he is just so darn goos in that position. Note that he is not that great at striking.

The best defense against any lock is not to get there in the first place. Over time you will learn what a person will do because you will fall for the same trick over and over. At some point you will learn to defend against it, mostly by avoiding it before it happens.

Again, I did not gave too much details because someone will have to go to the mat with you and show you and work on your sthrenhg and witnesses. At least I hope that I manage to help you focus on what you should be looking for.

The only technique I know for when they put their knees on your arms if you cant wiggle free (which you probably could) Is to use your now open lower body to either knee them from behind or wrap your legs around their head from behind and pull them back putting their head in the ground (this has to be dont really quick or he can resist it easily. Also be careful this can be lethal.) As for not wanting to go to the ground keep a distance using single strikes and dont let him grab your legs or tackle you. Also make sure the single strikes you get in count

SPRAWL, SPRAWL, SPRAWL.

Explosion is the key here, no matter what happens. As soon as this guy shoots in, explode your feet and legs backwards while spreading them, thrusting your upper bodyweight forward and grabbing his shoulders. Practice this on a mat if you can (just put your arms out to catch youself). If you've got a buddy to train with, practice your shadowboxing while he watches. Every now and again have him shout "Sprawl!" until you've got it down.

If your sprawl works, you should end up leaning heavily on each other just after his shoot. Punch him in the face repeatedly and back up to get your distance. After this happens a few times, he'll get sick of getting hit and maybe try to strike with you.

Also, if he's got you in the high mount(sitting high on your chest) you're screwed. Still, you can try to buck your hips out as high as possible and throw him off balance. Again, explosiveness is key here. Then you can try to escape by getting an arm inside and pushing his knee down so that you can pivot your hips to the opposite side and slide your knee in between his legs. (note that you'll: A] be eating punches the whole time, and B] you'll have to push his whole bodyweight down to do this) Next, push your leg up as high as possible to free it, then wrap both legs around his one. Grap hold of his head and keep that leg trapped. Hold on like crazy and he won't be able to do anything. Just keep him wrapped up and the ref will have to stand you up for inaction.

Good luck, be careful, and take some classes.

Ozzies all talk but Piniellas all action the way he kicks the dirt and his hat, and strong enough to throw a base, Im pretty sure he can knock around Guillen who'll just use foul language the whole time and wont even fight.

just stay away from him...don't let him come in close. Jab a lot to keep a good distance between you guys. Keep it a boxing match if that's what you're good at for now...try to control the fight with your longer limbs. If he comes in close, try uppercutting him in the plex...upper abs/under sternum until you catch him when he's not tightening his stomach...then youll knock the wind out of him and you can go all out until he drops. But if he's stronger than you....i hope he's not quicker too...good luck

bob would sugest you keep it to your feet, but sounds like your not good at that, practice blocking takedowns and do yoru best to keep it on the feet. if you go on the ground, try to flip him and get on top or get out from underneath. sounds like you guys dont really graple and wrestle on the ground, but more or less just get each other on the ground and sit on each other. if its that case all you can pretty much do is push them off, its hard to tell and explain though.

investigate aikido. as a whole, takes a lifetime to learn. but to impliment a few manuevers, very fast and effective. aikido has the manuevers i believe you would want to know, and would make it easy to introduce someone to the floor if they try to take you to the ground at all.

Erm, its seem that the normal way wouldnt work well for you, so I think u should use the low-down way.

Use mean way to win!!!
Get someone to beat your opponent up before the match. OR take a needle or a small knife n put in between your palm n bash him up.
OH no, i sound so bad!!!..

Haha, if wat i suggest sound good, u can use it!!!

Ok. First you need to impress him.

Make sure you do it in private, where no one can see you, with 15mins to spare. If you have abs and muscles challenge him for shirt-off fighting. If he says yes slowly take off urz. then show him your muscles. first bisceps. then abs. scare him. now you will have more agility. start with all you know. defeat him
