I dont care if it is unhealthy i just need to lose weight. I am overweight

Well if you're over weight and just now starting a diet most of what you'll lose will be water weight anyhow. Drink lots of water and no beverages with sugar. Avoid as much sugar, carbs and fat that you can and eat several small little meals a day and I think you can at least lose 7-10...and most of that will be water weight. Good Luck! :)

If you don't care if it's unhealthy, then you're losing weight for the wrong reason. If 10 pounds is all you need to lose, you're not overweight. If you're trying to lose 10 pounds a week for more than a week, you're going to get more discouraged when the weight doesn't stay off.

Exercise each night.

Eat a well balanced meal and stop when you are full.

Don't snack.

Don't deny yourself the basic foods you love; just each in moderation.

Drink water.

Cut out pop.

Don't expect immediate results.

I did my own version of the South Beach Diet last year and I lost 18 pounds in 2 weeks. It is a very strict diet and you have to slowly re introduce all of the banned foods over a period of a few weeks otherwise you will put the weight back on.

I know that you said you don't care if it is unhealthy but I found that after this diet every time I tried to eat any form of carbs of sugary foods I would immediately vomit them up. I also had nausea for about 8 weeks following this diet so please be careful.

Decreasing your input and increasing your output is the safest way to lose weight. Also jogging and/or running shifts the weight on your body so so quickly.

Its horribly un healthy to lose that much in just a week, generally you should not lose more than 4lbs a week. But if you can get a hold of a weight watchers points scale, your allowed 18-23 points a day, add exercise to that im sure the ten lbs would be gone in 2-3 weeks.
Best of luck, and remember kids, Bulemia and anerexia are not effective weight loss remedys. They just make your teeth look gross and your eyes sunk in.

p.s. if your serious about being overweight you should look into gym memberships, i joined one a month ago and i feel so much healthier, plus i borrowed my sisters weight watchers scale, so i measure whats healthy and whats not. GOOD LUCK!

That is very unhealthy and can be harmful to your body. If you are concerned, see your doctor and/or a nutritionist about changing your habits in a healthy way. More than likely if you lose that much weight in a week, it will come back and bring friends.

drink water and snack healthy throughout the day instead of 3 meals. eat a little every hour. it will help ur matabolism go faster. u could aslo run but u dont need to to lose the wait. eating cellery helps because it take more energy to eat cellery than it gives ur body. so u need water and healthy fruit snacks for the entire week. i pretty much recomend, not eating meats, or sweets for the week and stick to nuts, veggies, fruits, and water. juice is fine. and take zinc tablets of 50mg a day. u will lose a lot of weight. and for faster results. take 30 min. of each day to jog for 20 and sprint for the remaining 10. i can guarentee results.

There is a way to lose a good amount of weight. let me tell you this, food is made of nothing, no calories, or sugar or carbs, its all nothing, so eat away. Be sure to drink water too or you might not digest the food XD

eat a grapefruit with no sugar for every meal. maybe some celery too. and only drink water (but as little as possible, u want to lose water weight too) and workout for an hour every day. HARD CARDIO!! u'll probably die but at least u'll be skinny right?

I tried this and it really worked....drink at LEAST 4 bottles (if not more) of water a day! it worked for me... the only bad thing is that it doesnt keep the weight off forever...
