I'm not your complete prep, but i do care about how i look around the guy that I like. The problem is he has a crush on a total prep....you know, skinny, pretty, Abricombie clothes.I'm just the new girl that is friendly, sweet, caring. I guess that I'm a little chubby, but I have had a bf before. I've had guys outside of my family tell me that I AM pretty, but they're my friends, so I don't know what to think. ANYWAYS, what should I do to get the guy I like to like me.....even just a little?!

Well, I guess it's your type of guys that like a certain type of girl. I'm honestly that kind of girl, but yeahh. :o) Anyway though --
You're fine the way you are. Don't even compare yourself to the stereo-type you're writing about. If a guy doesn't notice you for who you are -- then he isn't worth it. I know it might be hard to walk away, but it won't do much for you. You shouldn't have to worry and try to put yourself out there for attention from a guy. It's kind of ridiculous. Eventually, you'll find a guy who appreciates you for who you are. Not on how skinny, pretty or the type of brand you wear. That's the type of guy that'll make you happy. I mean, he'll find you beautiful for just who you are. Hmm..This situation seems kind of high school though. In which case, doesn't always go according the way you want it to..

I look at the preppy girls, but I usually go after the new girls first. They will be the most friendly and outgoing, and they just like to be themselves instead of conforming to what everyone else thinks. It's good that you care about how you look, and everyone should. Don't let those jerks get you down. Heres a tip, look for the musicians...we are the ones that will like any girl as long as there personality is good.

well I think you worry about you weght a bit to much and if so your could loss some of it. But I mean you have to have the spirite that you are better than that girl and well she might be cute and pritty skiny and all but that is not the true beauty. I mean he is not machured enough if he is only looking for that kind of girls. and if you think he is in 20's 30's well then he is not the guy you. and one more thing every person has his/her own uniq quality and do not ever let a boy make you dubt about your beauty sure you are beautiful.

Personally, i hate people like that. I love a girl with something to her, the average girl, the girl who is a bit chunky because i can hug her and just melt into her, or lay my head on her and feel comfortable because theres no bones stuck in my head >.< The girls that arent as "pretty" to everyone else have the way better sense of humor. The preppy girls everyone thinks are hot are usually the biggest bitches you will ever meet, but most guys like them because they are really easy. That disgusts me when a girl is that easy. I like a sweet girl that will wait a bit for sex. Yeah, i'm a guy who doesnt like easy girls, weird eh? You sound like a perfect girl, do you ever talk to him? does he know you like him? Does he even notice you? I like a girl who says hi, or passes me a note or something, but the note doesnt sound like a good option for this one, so maybe talk to him next time your in class or whatever. Usually in gym class is when girls talk to me and get my attention, they ask for my msn or whatever, and we talk alot. Thats how i met my current girlfriend, except i met her during a school trip and we just started talking. She out of nowhere asked me something and we started talking. Try it, he might feel the same way about you, but not want to admit it. you never know ;)

They like them because they are shallow. Because they cant date people that dont wear abercrombie and dont put on two much makeup. For the boys that are not shallow, they will like you just the way you are. My school is small, so we have lots of drama. I often think: Forget dignity, this is war. I dont think you should do the same thing, because I take things more harshly than I should, guys dont like me. Good Luck and let the right guy come to you!!â¥

Handle yourself with grace and dignity. There will be a guy who falls down in front of you and worships you. Just be patient and wait for the right one. Don't be jealous or insecure, be happy and funny. Guys love a chick with a good sense of humor. Be good to youself and the guys will follow suit. ok....listen up...guys that only go for skinny preppy girls are guys in high school...when you grow up and go to college and create a much more interesting life for yourself, you will meet the guy of your dreams...you need to know that a lot of guys like girls that are curvy and i would prefer a girl thats got a nice booty and some chest (maybe a little chunky in the right way) over a girl with no *** and no chest, and she is really skinny....i get girls all the time now and i didn't in high school....I don't mean i hook up with them, but i go on a lot of dates (and they are all different shapes and sizes)...just use high school for friends and learning....when you get out in the real world you will see that there are guys who like all types of girls....guys are shallow in high school because of peer pressure and they are inmature...

Well I don't think girls have to be extremely skinny, I just have trouble being attracted to girls who are at an unhealthy weight but being a little chubby is fine.

my guy is the kind who dated those girls in high school, and trust me when i say i'm the complete opposite for the most part....i'm a goth/punk, short black hair, curvy...he didn't fall in love with my image, it was my personality. that's the main thing that i think matters most in attraction. a wonderful personality is very attractive. just be yourself around him, let him get to know you for who you are not just for what you look like!

k um guys think about sex every six seconds so you could act like a slut
they like those preppy girls because they are the ones who are willing to have sex they r the sluttiest of the american subcultures (second to the hip hoppers of course)
and i bet she wears those really short blue jean skirts too
