Having worked a drive-thru, it really doesn't matter that much. So long as you behave and don't do anything...stupid...you should be able to get your food with no problems.

The sign says no shirt, no shoes, no service...but that is if you go in. I suppose you could drive up in boxers in your own car..BUT you could also get busted for indecent exposed because technically you are in public.

I went reverse in the drive-thru
no joke... and nothing happened
we got our service just like whatever

I don't think anyone would stop you. But it sure could be uncomfortable if you spilled hot coffee. I think it would be a fine joke. Might even make a good scene for a screenplay.
