All I hear about is these stupid U.S troops who no one asked to defend them, raping little 14 year old girls in Iraq and killing there families. It seems as though every wek some "soldier" is charged with raping and killing innocent people. If they can't handle war then they shouldn't have fought for a country that doesn't need protection, and is stealing oil and land, and making it look like theres a civil war going on. And dont tell me "oh what about 9/11". 9/11 wouldn't have happened if the U.S would let countries run there own governments which the people eloected, but are looked at as terrorist organizations.

Because the American troops expected that they'll be welcomed with flowers and cheering crowds upon their arrival in Iraq. Soon, they realized that they're not welcome and this pisses them off. So, they rampage to rape and kill innocent people to show these "ungrateful Iraqis" what Americans can do.

It is not the US military that commits these crimes, it is an extremely small percentage of demented people in the military. Unfortunately, the media attacks these stories with a feeding frenzy apparently because they believe these stories boost their bottom line. Do not allow yourself to be duped into painting all of the soldiers with the same brush.

Your mistaken conclusions about a country that doesn't need protection conveniently leaves out the mass graves, the lethal gassing of 10,000 Iraqi Kurds and the terror and indiscriminate murder of thousands of other innocent people.

And where did you ever get the impression that these military backed dictatorships were"elected" by the people?

All in all, you obviously have a warped view of America - we are not the bad guys in this war, we are trying to successfully rid the civilized world of a psychopathic ideology that uses tactics of murder, maiming and terror of innocent men, women and children to further their agenda. And, oh, by the way, have you noticed that the soldiers are not the primary target of suicide and car bombers in the market places, at religious gatherings and in the center of towns? Perhaps there might be a civil war going on, after all?

Your heart is in the right place but your view is slightly skewed by your desire to be against republicans, I can understand that, but even with a bunch of idiots running the country, they can be right sometimes. It's simple probability.
We didn't deserve 9/11, nobody deserves to be blown up. You've forgotten the human aspect in this that drove Bush's power. Thousands of people died on 9/11, millions of friends and family members mourned. 99% of the people in New York are connected to someone who was killed on 9/11.

Our involvement in Iraq is a different issue all together. Lumping 9/11 with Iraq is how we got where we are. Iraq should have been dealt with, Saddam Hussein was an evil man who killed millions of Iraqis, he needed to be persecuted, going to war and killing the same people he was killing was an idiotic idea (what can you expect from a desperate man) we should have taken the proof we have against him and put him on trial for genocide just like we did with nazi leaders.
The reason we went into Iraq as everyone knows was to distract people from Osama Bin Laden. Hey, where is that guy by the way? Lets ask Bush, he should know, he's been chasing the guy for six years. Oh, wait, we haven't been chasing him at all. I think we knew where he was to begin with and made somekind of deal with him. I also think that guy has been dead for a year or so now and no one is telling us because they still want to hold it over our heads. Remember when they said (very quietly) that the CIA had pulled the team that was "looking" for Bin Laden because something about his group's leadership had changed, yeah it changed, he died. He had serious kidney problems, how long could he have lasted if he could never check into any hospital or risk people finding out.

And when I say no body deserves to be blown up, I mean no body deserves to be blown up. Suicide bombers are as much victims as anyone else. They are poor people who are brainwashed to hate and promised great things after death and money for his family.

The "soldiers"? Well, in any group large group of men there are going to be pedophiles and people with violence issues, in the military there are going to be lots of people with violence issues. I'm surprised there aren't more reports of misconduct. I have a friend who was in the military and who told me some stories of what some guys do for "fun" over there. It's not all guy, just a few, but a few too many.
Our soldiers are victims too, and if you know how the military recruits you know what I'm talking about.

Sorry, I kind of wrote a book there, but I wanted to cover all i had to say.

It isn't the military, it is a select few that happens to be in the military. Go live in another country and see how their military treats people. If the the U.S. would have put there foot down years ago, we would not be having problems with the little money hungry countries. The world, at one time, feared the United States. But the United States sense became pussified and just give out money to the little countries that are crying instead of putting a foot in their asses.

Its because the troops are starting to lose their minds...they are being asked to do back to back to back tours with no break to see their families at home. They are getting fired upon, day in and day out. They dont know if they are gonna live or die from minute to minute and some have been experiencing this for the past few years, every day, every night...some are just not mentally stable. The military has nothing to do with stealing oil or land, they just do as they are told. Unfortunate things happen during war. The troops need a break. They need to come home to see their families but its something that this administration fails to recognize or they are just to ignorant to acknowledge the facts. 13.5yrs service, Iraq war vet.

People rape women in every damn country in the world.
Just because its soldiers, its news, but what about the thousands of women who get raped everyday by regular people? Get off your damn soapbox my friend. If you want to stand up for rights of raped women, stand up for all of them.

And 9/11 killed thousands of people in minutes, thats a different story my friend. You can't compare the two. And i can't believe that you are not afraid of killing a man. Do you have experience in the actual deed? Have you ever been in a combat situation? You have no idea what it is like over there, so dont assume you know.

It has to do with the amount of stress they are under and ability to cope with that stress. Until you have been through that amount of life altering stress it is difficult to understand, but people can and do lose their minds temporarily or permanently from it. The same thing happened in Vietnam.

I heard that they were Iraqi soldiers that did it and its being handled... and innocent is all relative to how the media potrays it... in guerilla warfare you never know who your enemy is, so you shoot to save your life... Yeah a GI is to die for his country but why not make the other guy die for his instead!
