I am having an ABC birthday party for my twins 1st birthday. The theme is ABC's...we have letter-shaped pretzels, letter-shapped gummy candy, alphabet pasta, alphabet cereal.....any other alphabet foods that you know of? I need a main dish for dinner (could do alphabet pasta soup) but I don't think it will a favorite with the kids. Any ideas?

Visit a local Pizza restaurant (NOT Dominoes, Pizza Hut, or other big chain restaurant) but your mom and pap pizza place and talk to the manager and have them prepare any regular, cheese, pepperoni or other ingredient pizzas and have them unsliced take it home and do it yourself. Beth, Bath and Beyond sales alphabet cutters. I did it and it was a total hit try it!

jello, pizza, and gummy candies for one year olds???

O are those suppsed to be for the adults??
I don't think any of the parents i know would let their one year old eat junk food that early.

I would try sandwiches, fruit pancakes, or whole made french fries (cooked in the oven) you can cut these out with alphabet shapped cookie cutters.

If you cant find the right shapped cake you could always make banana bread muffins and just put alphabet letters on each with a bit of frosting.

here is a website with tips for an alphabet party

Alphabet French toast. (Cut it w/ alphabet cookie cutter when it comes off the grill.) Arrange on platter, sift powdered sugar over. Syrup and jam(s) served on the side.
