Braces are more precise and you will have better results going that route. You can get clear bands on the top and bottom of your front teeth if you are concerned with people noticing them.

ahhh! Invisaline can be a major nightmare. If your teeth are not very crooked, I would use invisaline. Although, my sister had it and it gave her chronic halitosis, and was very uncomfortable. Plus, you have to go to the dentist twice as often and it is more expensive/with slower results. Invisaline is good if you have a career that doesn't allow braces. however, i would DEFINITELY suggest invisible braces!!(the best of both worlds)
Oh, and it is VERY easy to lose invisaline retainers.

You should get normal braces. they work better and are cheaper. Plus like other peopel where saying you will have to visit more often then metal braces. For normal braces, it will just hurt when it gets tighten and a few days after. With invisaline, you will have to get new ones more often and there might be more pain since it's changed more often. Plus you can choose diffrent colours for braces which is fun for most people.

i went through the traditional braces and one of my friends did invisaline. I got better results b/c with invisaline its up to you to change to the new set every so ofetn and sometimes you dont even feel like wearing it wich could mess everything up. Endure the pain and suffering with the metal braces...it will turn out alot better in the long run

I don't mean to burst your bubble, but you really can't totally "pick" which type of braces you will get. It all depends on the anatomy of your mouth and the type of "bite" issues you have.
Invisalign usually works best for very uncomplicated cases -- where your teeth are already rather straight and your bite is good. If you have serious bite issues or a lot of crowding, or need extractions, Invisalign will not be right for you and your orthodontist will recommend regular braces.

All orthodontics is uncomfortable either when the wires are tightened or when you start wearing a new invisalign tray. The only person who can properly advise you as to which method, braces or invisalign, will work best for you is your Orthodontist.
