Don't dye it. It will be obvious that you dye it. It always looks fake and crappy. Just be yourself. Besides, gray is pimp...look at George Clooney, Richard Gere, and Harrison Ford.

my personal advice? Leave it be. People start to turn grey at many different ages. Same as with baldness. It is a fact of life and something to be accepted. Funny, but I dyed my hair for years when I was younger, then one day I decided to let it grow out to see if I had any greys yet. I have a few and I am proud of them, although I am still in awe sometimes of that color (or lack therof) coming out of MY head. In reality, sometimes dying your hair will actually make you look older than younger. And yes, I believe it will look fake. Dying your hair is high maintainence, since your hair will still grow and you will have to be continually touching it up to hide the grey--and if you have a mustache or beard? dye job every couple days! To me, greying hair on a man is more distinguished looking and shows they are comfortable with who they are and how they look.

So I say Yeah to grey!!!!!!!

I know that "hair" thing for men is very delicate question. That you guys are very concerned about that because hair play the role of the status and abilities, and definitely confidence. If you are one of those guys, you probably should dye your hair, but if not, just go as it is. And if you have woman who loves you she would not make a deal of that. If you'll dye it anyway you should choose natural dye like henna and there others like that which not only dye your hair but also make them stronger and healthier.

My husband is 36 now and has had that salt and pepper look for as long as I can recall ( I met him that way ). We have talked about him coloring out the grey but I think he looks just fine as he is and would not change him one bit.
As you do not say how old you are, I think when you find the right woman she will not care about the grey, she might like it!

There are really nice dye out there. You should definitly dye it. It will not look fake. No one, except your close family will know. It is better to dye it now while you have grays only. In a few years its going to be all white.

You can try the temporary dye that washes out in 6-12 shampoos, that way you would know but you wouldn't have to wait to grow it out completely. Try it on a Friday night, then if you hate it, you can wash your hair all weekend!

Dye always looks fake and alot of women find the salt and pepper look to be very attractive. In the end it is all about how you feel about yourself not what others will think.

I dye my hair...dye it one to two shades LIGHTER than your original hair...(my husbands hair is gray, has been for quite awhile, but for some reason I just can't let my dark hair go...especially since my eyebrows are dark...and I'm pale)

Find a good hairdresser for the first time you color your hair. He or she will help you pick the best color for your skin, eyes, etc. Sometimes, when you color your hair yourself, it doesn't look as good. I pay a lot for my hairdresser, but he's worth it. He was able to mix my dye to my natural color. People cannot tell that my hair has been dyed. Spend the money -- you're worth it!

Leave it be, it makes you look serious.... Wait until there's barely any color left and then dye it whatever color you like.
