whenever muslims try to challenge christians they use stories from the old testament which i feel no christian follows any longer. chrstianity is about jesus and his message of love and hope. when the unholy lifestyle of mohomed is mentioned muslims always come to his defense by quoting o/t stories.
to muslims i say can you please wheel in the first christian who prays to abraham or moses or lot who lived unholy lives?
why are muslims so foolish?
chrstians have i said it right?

No you are wrong, you are what i would call a Christain of convienience. The bible isn't pick and choose what fits your lifestyle, its the whole thing which includes the Old Testament. Check yourself before you call yourself a Christain

All i can say is Muslims on Questions and Answers.., will sometimes Use the Bible Old testament and sometimes try and use the New Testament to warp and bend the meanings to apply to Mohammad instead of Jesus as the promised one...,
THEN .., turn around and claim our Bible is corrupted by men over the years and is not the true word of God. Yet - they do not hesitate using our Bible to prove their cause saying those scriptures are true. They put both feet in their mouths.
This is nothing made up - I witnessed this on many occasions. I have no need to lie on a Muslim or anyone else. Its just a fact - thats what they do.
In fact anyone with intelligence who has read the Bible then reads the Quran can tell right off that its a Re-Vamp of our Bible.., a corrupted version of our Bible. It takes no genius to figure out the Old Testament came thousands of years before Islam, and the New Testament came a few hundred years before Islam - and therefore, Islam which came along around 620 AD, has this Quran which mimics our Bible but with its own twists and turns, refuting the original works and testimonies presented by those who knew Christ Jesus.
Muhammad never met Jesus, yet took on himself to retell what the Apostles record in opposition to them. YET - Mohammad tells his Muslim followers that Muslims must listen to Jesus and the Apostles. The trick is, he wants them to only accept what he had someone else write about them.
They say our Bible is corrupt because its been re-written in different ways by different people. The Bible can stand on its own merits in historic worth because it was written on parchments and papyrus and such. The Quran was written on rocks, on bark, on leafs and things that tend to get marred with age and movement and decay - SOMEONE had to start copying them. They have no proven means to show that the Quran they now have is the same as originally written on leaves, rocks and bark and whatever other materials were involved.

Cowgirl, I have had few discussions from Muslims, but there would be little by way of OT that they could discuss save the account of Abraham. If they read that account carefully they would see that Abraham tried to help his illegitimate son to find God and Ishmael made a mockery of his fathers beliefs.
Christians should not stop following the OT par-see. There are stories there to uplift, warn, and rebuke us less we go astray. Many things Jesus and the Disciples made use of comes from the OT. Exactly what Bible do you think they had?
Now I would say that Catholics might pray to Abraham or Moses as they do pray to all sorts of peoples. Which I believe is wrong. But, Christians pray to Jesus and while I fall victim to that from time to time Jesus told us to pray to the Father IN his name.
I would also not say Abe or Moses lead un holy lives, but Lot you got it in one.

I am a Muslim. Just mention one fact in Islam that goes against the established facts of Science.. The Almighty God created life on this earth. Read the Koran and you would be amazed to learn the actual steps involved in the birth of a child which contradicts the Bible but has been recently proven by science.

no because the old testament according to you is written by God. and if you believe God ordered the deaths of women and children you are being too harsh in judging islam. I dont like disrespecting Christianity because of a few christians who desrespect everyone else but people like you make it very difficult.
