Ok so its like this im 20 went on a date with a really nice and sweet guy......but not all that attracted two him......he keeps on wanting to hang out........how do i let him down easy???? i dont want to hurt his fellings???? have you been in this situation??

honey there is no easy way but its always better to tell the truth in these types of situations and the faster the better because you wont get his hopes up.

Just tell him the truth. Tell him, look I think your a really nice guy and you would make some lady happy but he's just not the type of man that your looking for. You need to tell him as soon as possible. The last thing you want to do is continue to let him think that he has a chance with you. The same way a girl would want it

Just let him know upfront what it is. Don't have him thinking that you have the same feelings that he does. Once you tell him the truth your hands are clean. Of course he is not going to want to hear that but that is something that he will have to get over. Whatever you do don't continue to lead him on if you are not feeling him. Trust me I've been that guy before and honesty is the best policy.

It's great that you are senstive to this man's feelings. It sounds like you have had one date with this man and are not interested in hanging out.
My wife suggests that you be kind yet firm with him and tell him the truth about your feelings. This way you won't waste his time.
Do let him know that you did enjoy his company and tell him the things you like about him. If there is no chemistry, there's no point. It's refreshing to hear the truth.

just be honest....if u want to be friends with him then just tell him that u enjoy his company and would love to hang out some time but the whole dating thing is just not gona work. be nice and sincere. if u don't even want to hang out as friends then u just need to tell him exactly that ...tell him you think hes a good guy but you don't want to date him. be nice and sincere and he'll see that. good luck

I've been thru it.Just tell him the truth like it's nice being YOUR FRIEND and emphasise FRIEND to him.He should take the hint and if that doesn't work tell him u have a crush on this paticular guy(it's a lie of course)that sure will hurt him but hey it's worth the lie to get him off ur back.

You don't. If your nice you don't let him down easy. I have been in that situation before, it is more painful for the guy if you let him down easy and he may not get it. Be blunt, firm, even mean. If your mean to him it will be easier for him to get over you.

just hang out a lot and if he tries to make a move then you should tell him you dont want to got out with him rather be awesome close friends...it shouldn't hurt him..i think he would be happy to know that you guys can still hang out a lot and that your not totally cutting him out of your life!

Since it was only one date, there really isn't anything invested here. He liked you, but you don't feel the same way...it happens.
Just lay it out on the line...be honest and say that he's not what you're looking for.

Just tell him that you like him, but just as a friend. There is truly no "easy way", but we are all human. If this is your desicion, and he really likes you, he will respect it.
