Every day I have terrible gas. It's surprising if I goe 2 days in a row without smelling terrible. It always smells like eggs or sulfer, sometime even ammonia. My girlfriend is getting sick of it, and truthfully so am I. What can I do to get rid of this problem? Is there pills or should I get my colon cleaned? What can I possibly do to stop having gas my whole life?

An over the counter anti-gas remedy could help. If it doesn't, I'd ask your doctor. Cutting out raffinose, lactose, fructose, and sorbitol may also help.

Hi -

I had the same problem.

Here are the possible causes:

1. What your eating. If you tend to eat fatty, and greasy foods, such as fast foods, you will expell much more gas.

2. Not getting enough water, or excercise.

Possible Solutions:

1. Eat better, eat less, and don't eat as much fatty foods.

2. I know it sounds horrible, but don't fart. (I fart all the time, everyone does, so don't stop farting)

3. There are some pills that you can take to limit the gas, but you can also try taking tums, or peptobismal.

4. Drink A LOT of water every day.

5. Getting your colon cleansed is a great thing. Not only will your farts smell better, but you will feel clean inside your body. There are actually some products that you can take at home to cleanse your colon. No laxitives, but are especially made for cleansing the colon. Some people have reported crapping out worms, and a lot of other gross stuff. This is what I recommend, especially if you are over 25

Good luck, and hope everything works out!

Gas is usually caused by bad digestion. What you eat can play into this, but if your digestion is good, you should be able to most anything without having this problem.

I have the following suggestions:

1. Do not take any antacids of ANY kind. These things are just a way to take advantage of general public ignorance of what really causes the so called "acid indigestion."

2. Rotting food ferments in your system and creates the gas. Rotting food comes from the LACK OF STOMACH ACID! Antacids neutralize the stomach acid and the lactic acid being produced by the rotting food. As we age, our bodies produce less and less stomach acid until the time we are about 80 years old, we are only producing about 5% of what we did at the age of 30. So, old people basically are starving to death because they are not digesting their food. The rotting food goes through the intestine and compacts and then these people take the laxatives to force the intestines to move the garbage through! What a disgusting Drug Company, Pharmacy related, Doctor insanity.

By taking Betaine HCL + a potassium activator from natural sources after each meal, your food gets digested properly and moves through the intestines ever so nicely.

Additionally, chlorine from tap water, antibiotics, all SOFT drinks, alcohol, all drugs (legal & illegal) destroy your good bacteria. The good bacteria are what the food that has been broken down by the stomach acid digest. If you have destroyed these, you will not be digesting your food properly and the bad bacteria that produce gas will multiply and give you a LOT of gas each day.

To solve this problem, it is not very expensive and you should be able to see great results in a few days if you do the following:

order the following from: www.healthline.cc

Betaine HCL w/ activator
Probiotic
Quantum Digest

Take 2 HCL & 1 activator, 1 probiotic, 2 quantum digest after breakfast and dinner. I also suggest getting some keifer milk and drinking that at night before going to bed & in the morning when you get up.

Keifer milk is not problem for lactose intolerant people. If you are lactose intolerant, this can cause the gas as well. I suggest you not eat or drink any dairy products for a few days as well. The keifer and yogurt will not be a problem and could be consider not a dairy product to stop.

I would not eat commercial beef you buy in super markets. That beef is loaded with omega 6 fatty acids, antibiotics, and growth hormones that are terrible for the body. It doesn't digest very well even in the best of digestive systems. I suggest you get beef from GRASS FED COWS. This meat is very high in omega 3 fatty acids and low in the omega 6's. It is GOOD for you.

Also stay completely away from SOY and all soy products. Avoid pizza's from Dominoes or Pizza Hut because about 30% of their cheeses are soy to cheapen the cost. Avoid at all costs CANOLA oil. This oil is a trans fat and is very toxic to the body. Eat olive oil and other cold pressed oils like coconut oil, palm oil, etc.

Good luck to you.
