If you like chinese food try this with rice &/or veggies:

1-2 lbs. boneless skinless chichicken breast

small jar honey

pancake batter

Slice chicken into strips or small chunks (your choice). put in bowl of pancake batter. Fry until done.Drain oil off of chicken. Put chicken in bowl & pour honey over it to coat & serve while hot. It's so good!!

I bake my own bread, and cook for my wife every day. I have even written my own cook book. 657 pages of it. Typed and bound. So to say which my specialty?
I guess baking. That includes desserts too!

I know, my specialty is cooking over an open fire. I consider myself a good cook with a Dutch Oven! Or with Aluminum foil packets. My book started with recipes for Boy Scouts, and grew with my original recipes I use to cook for my kids when they were at home.
Now with the Internet, I have discovered that many of my concoctions are already in print. I guess you can't improve on good food.

How do I prepare it? Experimentation. Believe me, my family has downed some pretty ugly stuff in 37 years. Now, they look forward to coming home to their favorite recipes.

Now that my kids are grown - I'm ashamed to say that I don't cook that much any more. My husband and I eat out at least three nights a week (hangs head in shame) but I did make a banana cream pie from scratch today!

Yes, I cook. I first started doing pastries, and for quite a while loved it. But, something just changed, and I know it's very tedious work, but I found it too tedious, and the hot side of the kitchen was just calling me. Currently I do hot foods, and of course love it. My specialty would have to be French Bistro. I currently am working for one of the greatest chefs to have ever walked among us, and am learning so very much every day.

I cook every day. I guess my speciality would be barbacue ribs.
I buy my ribs and bring them home and rinse them off and then I put them in a crock pot and put a onion and about 1/4/ cup chopped garlic. then after they have cooked for about a couple of hours, I turn them down on low and put the barbacue sauce on them and let them cook all day. They are really delicious with fried potatoes. green beans, and corn bread.

My best is my chocolate cake. Email me and I'll send you the recipe.

Otherwise, I cook almost daily. Anything from smoked leg of lamb to hot wings to twice baked potatos. No pre-packaged food for me and my family.

PS: I'm happily married with three kids and a couple grandkids.

My specialities are many!
But my fav - Haleem!!!

Main Ingredients:

1 ½ kilograms of Mutton or Beef
½ kilograms of Wheat Grains (crushed and soaked in water for 1 ½ hour)
1 cup of Gram Lentils (soaked and boiled)
3 medium Onions (thinly sliced)
1 tbsp. Garlic Paste (Pisa Lehsan)
1 tbsp. Ginger Paste (Pisi Adrak)
1 tsp. Garam Masala Powder
2 tbsp. Red Chilli Powder (Pisi Lal Mirch)
1 ½ tbsp. Coriander Powder (Pisa Dhania)
1 tsp. Turmeric Powder (Pisi Haldi)
Salt (to taste)
A pinch of Soda
1 ½ cup Clarified Butter (Ghee)

For Seasoning n Garnish:

1 bunch of Fresh Mint Leaves (Podina) (finely chopped)
1 bunch of Fresh Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) (finely chopped)
Green Chilli (Hari Mirch) (finely chopped - to taste)
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds (Sufaid Zeera) (roasted and ground)
1 tsp. Garam Masala Powder
2 medium size pieces of Ginger Root (Adrak)
1 large Onion (thinly sliced)
4 Lemons (Nimbu) (cut in quarters)
2 Clarified Butter (Ghee)

Heat clarified butter in a pan. Put meat in the pan, add garlic, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook on medium heat.

In a seperate pan boil wheat grains with lots of water, add salt. When the grains become tender and mushy add a pinch of soda and cook further for 15 to 20 minutes.

Now mix the wheat grains with the meat and mix well. Stir continuously so that both are mixed properly. Now grind the lentils in a food processor. Make it into a thick paste by adding 2 cups of water while processing it.

Pour the lentil paste into the meat and wheat mixture and stir to mix well. Place the pan on a heavy tava or griddle on low heat and cook for 30 to 40 minutes.

Fry the sliced onion in clarified butter and drain on absorbent paper towel. When the haleem is cooked, sprinkle fried onions, garam masala powder, fresh mint, and coriander leaves. Garnish with cumin and ginger. Keep a little of the seasoning seperate and serve with haleem.

3 meals a day from scratch as "home made" as possible.

Better for health, better family time, way more cost effective then ordering in/eating out.
