You extra advantageous than meet the standards. I actual have a 10 year previous pc that has an AMD K6 and 256 meg of RAM that i'm employing Xp professional with SP2 on it. Granted it truly is slow besides the shown fact that it does run

While Windows XP will install on 128m of memory, it will run very slow and hung up often. You need 256m to be able to run it adequately.

but i would not run it under 256 myself

unless u have a fast hard drive and lots of virtual memory

128mb for XP; for vista i can only imagine, lol. That's just installing it not running it. Get more! lol.
