I am 13 years old and I am 5'1" and I weigh 135lbs. Am I over weight? And how tall would I be? I started my period since I was 10, would that affect my growth since I already have it?

No, I think you're healthy. check your BMI(body mass index)

If you were over weight, your doctor would have told you, so I dont think you need to worry about your weight.

here i checked your bmi for you just click on this page and it will answer all of your questions.....and also another thing the age you start your period at has nothing to do with your growth being affected. http://www.seventeen.com/health/bmi/spc/0,,665141_665143,00.html?pounds=135&inches=61&x=61&y=15
I entered in your height and wieght now all you have to do is look at the chart under the age 13 and you will find out if you are overweight.

You're a bit overweight...but your metabolism is still probably high...so it won't be that hard to lose the weight. Just workout and do cardio for an hour a day for exercise...ideally you should be between 100-120 pounds. But everyone is different...if you are very muscular that could be why your weight is higher than average. Try to lose about 20 lbs. Good luck! ;-)

you can go here to calculate your body mass index
http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx

BMI is calculated using your weight and height and is then used to find the corresponding BMI-for-age percentile for your age and sex.
