No, as long as both participants are under the age of 18. However, there is a general 4 or 5 year age difference that's almost acceptable in most cases. When you have a 17 year old dating an 11 year old, that's unacceptable.

No not for the whole country. Every state/country has different laws on the age to have sex. It just really depends. Doesn't nesscarily HAVE to be over 18, some people do it mostly 15, 16, even 17. Some wait. Everyone and every state is different.

yes indeed it is .... through the eyes of the united states being under the age if 18 makes you unable to make decisions .... or in this case give consent ... I believe some states have the age set at 17.
** it is also important to note that even though you feel that you are ready and your boyfriend is 18 and you are not ... it can be considered rape.

Sleeping with someone under the age of sixteen, whether you are older then them or not, is a crime.
Go ahead and have sex if you are ready- there are plenty of younger teens having sex out there.

yes it's illegal but it's not like you're gonna get arrested for it. since youre both under the legal age of consent, its kind of like you're statutorily raping each other.
