My boyfriend is Jewish also, but I am only part. In addition to what Lady Suri said (which was a good answer, btw in regards to Jesus) if you want more info on Judaism a GREAT site is:
http://www.jewfaq.org/toc.htm
This is the table of contents, and you will find that the site covers everything from beliefs, to the calendar and holidays, to traditions and customs, to basic Hebrew and Yiddish terms. It's very informative and each topic is helpfully labeled Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced based on how much you already know.

Hope I helped!
G-d bless you.

Yes, Jews believe in Jesus...as in he was a great Jewish man who did a great many things. Jews do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah...they are still waiting for the Messiah to come. Jews believe in one God...no others.

There is Orthodox, Conservative, and Reformed Judaism. Orthodox are the most religious and Reformed are the majority in the U.S.

I hope the best for you. If you think of converting...just know that it is not easy.

Oh and by jewish law, if your mother is jewish--you are jewish. So although your boyfriends father is christian, according to jewish law he is a jew.

Jewish beliefs on J*sus:

We believe he existed. There is a small group of people who think he doesn't, but I personally am unsure how that is when the Talmud mentions him.

We do not believe in him as a prophet, a son of god, a holy being, or anything.

Some of us believe that he may have been an overall good man, a rabbi, whose teachings were badly misinterpreted by his followers.

Some of us believe he is a non-issue.

Some of us believe he was the deceiver and an evil man.

That's basically it. Any more questions, feel free to email me, though I wonder why you don't just ask your boyfriend if you've been going out for two years.

(quick note: There are a sect of people who call themselves "Messianic 'Jews'" who are Chrstians who claim to be Jewish in order to convert Jews (usually the young, elderly, and lonely) into their religion and try to trick them into believing you can be Jewish and believe in J*sus as a messiah. These people are NOT Jews and are NOT recognized as Jews by any Jewish authority.)

Jewish people have different beliefs regarding Jesus. Some of them don't believe He ever existed. Others believe that He was a false prophet or a sorcerer. Others believe that He was just some historical figure but not the promised Messiah.

Most traditional Jews believe in the historical Jesus, but not as a savior or messiah. There is a Jewish sect called Messianic who are followers of Jesus.

All you have to remember is that most Jewish holidays revolve around these three themes:

1. They tried to kill us.
2. They failed.
3. Let's eat (except for Yom Kippur).

>>do they still believe in jesus, just not the way we do<<

Those who identify as Jews today do not believe Jesus was divine.
