it's in my history class. he's a new kid. there's girls a LOT hotter than me, trust me. i'm not just saying that to avoid bragging. seriously. i'm also definetly not the ugliest girl. why does he stare at me all the time? evey time i just glance he's looking, it didn't just happen once or twice. every time i continue to look for more than a second he looks away. even my friend told me she noticed he's been staring at me? WHY?

Do you really have to ask? It's only one of two reasons: Either he is seriously attracted to you (which is the most likely option), or he thinks you're a freak.
Or maybe he just happens to catch you looking his way at the same time he's glancing at you...and he's asking all his friends why some girl in history class is always staring at HIM.

HE LIKES YOU! If you don't like him, then you still have to establish contact with him. He could be a really good friend, and if he doesn't know you're not into him, he'll keep on staring. If you MIGHT like him, or if you do, then go for it! He's probably too nervous to make the first move, so ask him a question about the class or some club he's in. If he sees you're interested, he'll loosen up.

chances are he likes you, cant think of many other reasons that he'd be looking at you like that. The best thing to do is not to make too big of a deal about asking him out as if its a date but just maybe at the end of class you and your friend could invite him somewhere, or maybe to join you for lunch or something. Think about how you would appreciate it if you were new in a school if someone asked you to join them with something, especially if it was someone you liked. That way if it turns out he doesn't feel that way about you at least you will have made a new friend and made a new kid feel welcome. :D

For the time being, you are the hottest girl in history (class), at least to the new kid. Unless, he makes you squirm, you may want to just introduce yourself. This may sound corny but offer to shake his hand and introduce yourself and let it go at that. It may put him at ease. Or if he's shy, he might start avoiding you. Regardless, at least you've taken the initiative and broken the ice. You're young, the stares have just begun.

maybe he finds something about you that intrigues him. He probably thinks there is something special about you. He might not be a shallow guy that only goes for the hottest chick at school.

Perhaps he finds you interesting. I wasn't the prettiest one in school either, but I managed to date the hottest guy on the football team! Maybe he likes your style, the way you dress, the way you laugh? Hes new...talk to him and introduce him to your friends!
