I hear there is a way to do this, maybe a command in command prompt or a special software. I just think there is a way to use an admin comp. to remotly shut off and computers on the same LAN

There are lots of utilities that will let you do this. Go to download.com and seach > remote shutdown.

If you know how to use Windows Remote Desktop, and you have your LAN configured properly, you can edit each machine to listen on a unique Remote Desktop port, and then log onto those machines and use Start>Run>Taskmgr and choose shutdown from the menu.

we are using a cafesuite software were in u can shut off, restart logoff etc... computers on lan, u have installed it in the main computer and connects the other computer to its client

If you can do a remote desktop to it, you can open a command prompt window and type shutdown -h

If your interested in doing anything remotely, I suggest getting vnc. there are several versions, but all are really good, easy to use, and free.
