Oh Come on now. Mexican Immigrants?

I mean is it really that big of a deal? And for those of you in NYC area, should the republican club just shut up? I mean, we have so many other problems in American right now before illegal Mexicans. Just push that problem in the background and take care of what's important first. Like I dunno, how about health care and the whole war problem. I mean seriously, ok so they may cross the boarder and bring some cocaine, as if we don't already have that here. But is it such a big deal that you have to go rallying in the streets against it. I'm so tempted to call it racist, and it may be but it also may not be. Ok so my point is, big deal or not, what do you think?

Tuscan Hooligan or whatever, ok the fact that you took the time to actually notice the " I mean" in my sentences tells me that you are totally missing my point. Ok? Sometimes for certain people it takes time to get their point across but I did get it out, cool down and just answer or not.

Also to add, recently I've found out that illegal Canadian immigrants aren't receiving such harsh rejection as illegal Mexican, someone please tell me what that means now. I also say, what you do to one do to all.

I repeat, I said I was "tempted" to call it racism, tempted people but not quite there.

these illegal immigrants are getting free healthcare, and our prices are going up. if we get rid of all these illegals, that would greatly reduce our healthcare costs. the children of these illegals are going to our overcrowded public schools, so our children suffer. did you know that mexico recieves more revenue from the illegal drug and slave trade across our border than from all their other sources combined? these people are criminals when they get here. and mexico encourages them. when 13,000,000 people come across a border without permission, that's an invasion.

4 There are lots of Illegal immmigrants but a mjority come from mexico and there are two types of complaining- 1 in general saying that these immigrants need to be taken care of or 2--making racist remarks about them which is wrong.


My whole opinion-------> Basically we know they want to come over because of various reasons i won't get into but America has no room for them and they make things worse. There are better countries to migrate to. America needs to stand tall on her feet again figuraively speaking and illegal immigrants in general are bringing her down whether they realize it or not. Now, if you are legal, thats okay.

OPn the other hand people try tto manipulate immigrants(lower pay etc) and in mexico they get our jobs because they work for less but thats a different story.................

Illegal aliens are a problem in America, but let us face the truth. They are here doing the jobs that Americans don't want to do. America would not be what it is if it were not for the hard labor of these so called aliens. You don't want your tax money to go to their health care, well why don't you or someone you know take one of their jobs so they could return to their country. Or how many of you go out to eat to restaurants where Americans are cooking your food, washing your dishes or busing your tables? How many Americans do you know that are picking tomatoes in the burning sun?
Who does Americas dirty jobs? Ask those who employee illegal immigrants why? And besides it being cheap labor it's work that nobody wants to do. most likely this did not awns er your question but it might motivate anti immigrants to take on jobs that illegal aliens are doing. So that they no longer have to pay for their health care

Well in your long list of awnswers, theres a lot of talk about how mexicans deprive our economy and drag us down. People complaining about taxes and health care. But you pointed out an issue that deprives the U.S. money wise 100 times the amount that mexicans do. War ! do people even realize how much money the U.S. has spent on the war in iraq? We could have built 40 foot high electric fences and deported every illegal imagrant from california to new york with the money we have spent in iraq. ( i thought i might add im a Sgt. in the Marine Corps)

I'm afraid you are being very naive. The illegal immigrant problem is not about racism...it is about controlling the borders and keeping people out who are not good for America. Think about it...if Lucy and Desi Hispanic can cross the border, so can drug lords, rapists, murderers...and oh yeah...terrorists. And don't think this is a tin foil hat scenario. There have already been a number of terror cell plots identified that involved Arabs learning Spanish, getting fake Mexican IDs and mixing in with other illegals crossing the border. Unfortunately, Lucy and Desi are going to have to take being hassled while the government sorts the REALLY bad guys from the peaceful bad guys. Sorry, but if you are illegal, you are going to get mixed in with some really unsavory characters. Maybe, the good "bad" guys should try coming here like those that have done it the right way, then they wouldn't get hassled.

Maybe it would help the health care if we didn't have so many people that can't get a legal job with health care and use emergency rooms as a doctors office. Say 12 million of them how much would that save the hospitals that charge more to the people that can pay.

Maybe the Mexican government can pay for their health care here?

i think that it is stupid that people are making such a big deal about this because they are taking jobs that people in America aren't taking and they are being paid less than every one else. They aren't hurting us. I mean i think that alot of this has to do with not like in Hispanics just in general. So they are using this as an excuse to say that they are bad people. I mean some of them are but most of them come to have a better life and try to make their families lives better. So i think that people shouldn't make such a big deal about this.

Would that be because you have no valid argument as to why these people, who make up for eighty percent of the problem, should be able to freely reside here just 'cause 'they have it bad'? The United States isn't everyone elses mother - We shouldn't have to carry the burden of taking in everyone in need. People need to learn to stand up for themselves and make a change. We have our own problems to deal with. American citizens should come first - Period. Every other citizen from another country should go to their leader for help instead of taking the easy way out and heading for the states. A better life? No - more like an easy life where everything is handed to you. You can thank the PC's for that.

I don't have a problem with large numbers of people coming here (US) from all types of origins, as long as they participate in the society and help shoulder the burdens.

If you are a lazy freeloader, a "taker," who isn't even bothering to better yourself, and would rather be poor and live on a govt check, then I have a problem with that, regardless of your skin color or accent. The problem is not with the packaging. It's the person on the inside.

We don't want illegals from anywhere coming in - canada, europe, africa, mexico...there's a process of indoctrination for a reason. If you're not used to the customs and practices of america, and you don't know even the basic history, you shouldn't be here. The problem with the mexican illegals (WHICH MAKE UP FOR ABOUT 80 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM) is that they have, in general, little respect for the average american. They refuse to learn english in many cases, and because of the situation they place their children in (low income), crime is generated in order to escpae the 'ghettos'.

Keep this in mind - if the US economy failed, and all of the sudden Americans were destitute and desperate, do you think any other country in the world would allow us to swarm across the border without citizenship? Hell no.

I have no problems with anyone, regardless of where they are from, immigrating to the U.S. if they do it legally. It doesn't matter if it's someone from Mexico, Canada, Iraq, or China if they are here illegally they don't need to be here.

No, Mexican Immigrants are not a big deal or a problem. The problem is ILLEGAL immigrants, regardless of where they are from. As someone else said to you, you seem very misinformed. Illegal immigration is erroding our health and education services and is a huge waste of taxpayer dollars. Yes, the drugs that also enter with some of the illegals are a huge problem as are the hispanic gang members who are almost all made up of illegal immigrants - just because there are already some drugs here, doesn't mean we should complacently sit by and allow more to come in. If rallying in the streets is what it takes to get the attention of the politicians who, by the way work for you and me and not for illegal immigrants, then by all means, we should rally and march and protest in the streets! Yes, as someone else also said here, you are living in an ivory tower.

Yes, we do have problems---illegal immigration. It's a huge problem. And by the way, illegals get the health care the American citizens don't. I just though you should be brought up to date.
