HA HA!

No way. It doesn't apply to the war in Iraq. Or all the other campaigns of the US.

I wonder why Iraq is branded a terrorist nation. After all there is no proof that it ever took part in 9/11.

Do you think no one dies during peace time. In the first year
of this war we had 3 U.S. cities that had more casualties then
we did from the war. Compare clits 93-96 against Bush's first 4 years see who has more losses.

Our troops are being killed by very bad men...not the women and children who are trying to live a peaceful life, but by bad men..
The ones that behead on TV. That are now using Chlorine bombs on their own people too. They are scum bag terrorists not insurgents, most are not even from Iraq. Had Bush not tried to appease liberals and let the military do their job they would have hunted them all down.

You liberals will get what you want some day. Not I...when they come to my door to take my Constitutional rights away, they will leave one or two less. Not sure 72 virgins will be waiting.
No one wants war, but if you can't see the writing on the wall.
Look how the women are treated in Afghan, some of those same thugs psycho's are now in Iraq.

It's not the Iraqi people, do you think for a second 25 million people could be held in check with only 120,000. With all the arms in that country...20 thousand are causing the trouble.

if you want to help our troops, ask your clit why he slashed spending on items such as body armor, armor plated Humvee.

Are you kidding? You're gonna bring the bible into a war? Do you know what's running through peoples head in the heat of battle, and possible death? Yeah, if you think they're thinking of anything but saving their behinds and doing what's necessary to save themselves, ethics and morals just fly out the window even for the most devoutly religious people. You just can't play that "thou shall not kill" card into a war man, esp. when it's you out there.

though shall not murder... murder is premeditated, killing is an act of war, its different! Are you talking about the Soldiers we have fighting or the Muslims extremist who are supposed to follow those same ten commandments... well the religion tells them its ok to bring terror upon those who are not properly folllowing islam and that if they die doing it they get rewarded in heaven... this is why i don't understand why people think islam is so peaceful... promising 72 virgins the religion objectifies women and says its ok to kill those who don't believe in islam and properly follow it!

the Hebrew says "Thou shalt not murder." It is unfortunate that the King James translators used the broader "kill."

Still, if read in the context of the Bible, the more restricted meaning should be clear, as Jews and Christians have understood it down through the millenia.

"silly" about the ten commandments? You must not really be very religous. That is part of war, soldiers go in knowing they might not come back. God knows, he greets them at the gates to heaven. Seriously, find a better way to take out your bitterness.

Many people interpret that as meaning you shouldn't kill in cold blood, or for selfish reasons. The people involved in wars are fighting for a cause, not just senseless violence.
If someone is being shot at, what do you expect them to do? Just sit there and be killed? What if they are a devout Christian? Are we supposed to let another good Christian die, or should they defend themselves and live another day to serve God?
What if a woman is about to be raped? Is she supposed to let herself be violated, and not defend herself?
I think not. These people should defend themselves, so they can live another day to be happy, be with their families, and follow their faith in peace.
and I would check you're use of the 6th Commandment, it actually says "you shall not murder"

Maybe you should go over there and fight them armed with the white flag you are flying in front of your house. I think the Arabs' problem is that they just need a hug. You should go and give them one and the ouchy will feel better.

In the real world you have to kill those who would kill you, otherwise you end up dead, which is a horrible way to live.

Translated from the original Hebrew, the commandment is actually "thou shalt not murder".

In other words, it's acceptable to take the life of an enemy combatant when you're in the military. If this weren't the case, then Israel wouldn't have an army.

Why do you concern our soldiers killing the terrorists while hundreds of babies are aborted everyday at home?
God loves children more than the enemy (evil) who believes that they will get 72 virgins in heaven when they do jihad to infidels?
