his compositions are truly masterpieces. no one recalls him anymore. it makes me really sad.
everytime I listen to his soundtracks on "Once a time in the west". I start to cry.

Once upon a time in the west, a magnificent tune played by the Nevada symphonic orchestra, listen to it all day. I do agree with you on this one.

No one recalls him anymore? He's being honored for his lifetime achievement at the Academy Awards this year! Whether or not his scores can be considered masterpieces alonside those of Hermann, for example, is arguable. But he's at least as good as John Williams, and there's nothing wrong with that.
