My Tattoos are for me. I didn't get them for the public so I could give a rats @ss what the public thinks......I have tattoos that I can keep hidden if I want......and I actually prefer that people meet me first and then find out about the tattoos later....There is so much more to me than tattoos but if people see them first they may not give me a chance to get to know them

They're a great way to express yourself. but you should really get them somewhere where they're not very noticeable simply because they can stop you from getting a job or having little kids point at you. A small symbol somehere where it's not seen when wearing clothes but looks great with a bathing suit is acceptable. Still you're changing the body that God gave you. But once again a small symbol is fine. Although most people usually get a little trashy when it comes to tattoos.

I think tattoos are a personal thing. I have one where it's not too noticable. When I have to look professional, job interviews lets say, it's hidden. Please don't get one on your neck or face or hands, be sensible about where you put it. I believe that they are something for you to enjoy. Don't get one because you want to impress people by showing them you have a tattoo. Everyone has them, so get it for you, not others.

I myself have two tattoos they have a picture of both my kids horoscope signs with their names under them.

I guess I would have to say I like the kind that have a story to them. But like they say every tattoo has a story to it.

I love tattoos. I think they are sexy and can be very beautiful, if done well. I just don't think anyone should get anything trendy like Bart Simpson, because in 20 years no one will know what it is.

A good way (if not great) way to build confidence.
A bit addictive htough, so be careful of what you wanted. They cannot go away (except with expensive laser treatment - and by treatment I mean more than one time), so if you're not satisfied by one, you'll make another one. And maybe another one and so on and so on.
If you're worried about showing or people commenting about your tattoo(s) try one of those glow in the dark ink. it's transperent in daytime.

I absolutely love them and I love what they stand for. It's very interesting to learn the meaning behind them. Every tattoo has some sort of significant meaning behind it, and it means something to someone!

Depends on the tattoo. I have a dragonfly that I love. My step-son has a panther that I love. My husband has a "C" that I don't love (it is his ex's initial) Well done tattoos can be real nice, but if they're messed up...they're MESSED UP!

It depends. Sometimes I think they're sexy, other times I think they're just scary. I decide based on what's being depicted. If it's something cute and feminine like a fairy or a butterfly, I'll generally like it. If it's something else, I'll usually agree with it unless it has a bunch of staring skulls, that's just scary. and for those about to give me a thumbs-down for saying that, hey, it's my opinion. I don't think I'll get one, but it shows your style and personality.
