Paper towels have Formaldehyde in them...don't do that. I have chronic hiccups that are sometimes painfull. The only thing that works for me is a glass of water and a butter knife. Put the knife in the water and drink the glass of water with the butter knife in the water and the handle held to your temple. Don't know why...but it works.

Maybe the hiccups don't want to go away because they love you.

Drink a glass of water with a paper towel over it. Double the paper towel cause it will drip. I forget the exact reason why it works but a nurse i worked with told me to do it and it works every time
