I'm freezing cold, and need to get to a warm place. If you could take a free vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Thailand - so much to see and do and you can have a good time on any budget. The shopping is great. The people are friendly and tolerant of foreigners and the educated Thais have more or less adopted English as a second language. Warm year round.
Tunisia - sort of like the Riviera with so much history and the shopping is great. It is not your typical Arab country with rah rah Islamists and sharia law etc. Also affordable. Nice beaches and affordable accomodations.
Ghana - the world's most friendly people and definitely very affordable except for the airfare. Also warm year round.
Check these places out on the net.

I've traveled A LOT, so here's MY top 10 list of excellent vacations:
1. Texas-Very classic. I've been there and I saw the Alamo and it was so beautiful there. It's not like a desert or anything, but the people down there are very friendly...and they'res VERY good hamburgers!
2. Egypt: Pretty expensive, but so worth it. It's amazing to see all the tombs and pyramids. It's is warm...but if you go in the summer you could find the desert heat a little on the extreme side. Go in winter and you'll learn a LOT of very useful info.
3. Bahamas: It's absolutely gorgeus down there. Beautiful sand, plants, and the people are so care-free and happy. There's no theme park down there-but here's a classic-LAY ON THE BEACH!!! Very pretty sights to see.
4. California: Very beautiful. And what else can I say? Dolphins are cute.
5. Jamaica: Ditto.
6. Florida-Family classic. Disney world is AWESOME. Make sure u visit all four theme parks-and if you have kids they'll love it. Make sure to try dining with a Disney Charecter-it's the happiest thing in the world for kids to dine with a person they think they only see on TV.
7. Nevada-Very nice golf courses. I personally find them boring-but if you have kids take them on a mini golf course. It's SO FUN. We went through courses that got us soaking wet or going down a slide, or crawling through stuff. That may not sound fun-but when 'ya get there it's totally FUN.
8. Mexico-Very nice weather. Very nice parties. Very nice sombraros. Make sure u go lay on the beach...another classic.
9. South America-Rainforest adventures. VERY VERY VERY FUN. Totally educational, just like Egypt, but is SOOOO fun too! Make sure u experience a rainforest hike, and tour some Mayan ruins!
10. Hawaii-Totally the Queen of all vacations. I went there-definitly stay at a resort on the beach. Waikiki has beautiful beaches and snorkling-make sure you swim, rent a boat, and just relax on the beach. VERY IMPORTANT: Lu-Au's (I have no idea if I spelled that right) are VERY VERY VERY fun. Also be sure to stay LOOOONG in Hawaii. It will be an unforgettable vacation. Beautiful weather-make sure u take a tour of the rainforest! Plus-eat the fish there. Very fun experience. I HIGHLY recommend this vacation.

I would love to trek through Africa, in particular Kenya, Morocco, Nairobi, Congo, Botswana, Egypt, and Madagascar. Or do the jungle adventure through the Amazon in Brazil :D
