Just use the amp for the subs. You'll also need the right enclosure for the subs.

You can do either / or.

I prefer to have a second amp for my mids and tweets. Seems silly to spend the bucks on a bunch of power for the subs and then be limited by the distortion in my head unit.

If you're not sure. Put in the sub and amp and if your mids and tweets can'y keep up then...add a second amp...four channel to cover those.

leave your speaker hook up to the hu and hook the subs up to the subs becus u cant hook up subs and interior to the same amp it will blow the interior because you want your amp turned up for the subs and you want your amp down for the interior unless you have a 4 channel amp that will hook up to ur interior then put a 2 channel amp on the subs

and what r u talking about -- one guy above i have no idea what this guy says in all his posts.......................

and no speakers in a car are usually 4 ohms and newer cars are usually 2 ohms older are 4ohm thats why newer cars sound good as hell cuz they have less resistance

No, I doubt that the output of your amplifier will be adjustable to your speakers with gains and frequency etc. Also, speakers are almost always 8 ohms, and subwoofers barely ever are. Leave your speakers how they are, unless your speakers are 300$ you will not have a huge benefit for the cost of ampin the muther fukers up
