I couldnt find a Cd of mines for two days and my fiancee kept saying Im crazy to look for it , then when I came home he told me that his daughter confessed she had my tape. He said I am stupid and crazy for calling it stealing he considers it borrowing it.

Yes honey she stole your CD. If some one takes something without asking whether they return it or not is called stealing. You need to talk to your husband about this because I don't think that its stupid at all to say that his daughter is a little thief. Yall need to talk and then yall need to talk to her before she starts "borrowing" things from other people and stores.

For courtesy's sake, she really SHOULD have asked you. But if she always had the intention of bringing it back, it really is just borrowing. She wouldn't have confessed to having it if she intended to keep/steal it.

I say it is borrowing. But it sounds to me as if there are deep rooted problems already in the relationship between you and his daughter. You need to get those straightened out if you want your relationship to work.

sorry sweety but he is right, if she took it out the house gave it to a friend and had no intention of giving it back then yeah its stealing but in this case she was just listening to it... borrowing

She didn't ask to borrow it so I consider it stealing. It doesn't matter if she intended to return it.

borrowing without asking- kids do it.
you need to lay down the ground rules and stick by them!
