Glycerine Soap is a good soap to clean your skin, but may not prevent you from getting acne. Some people get acne due to hormones or an imbalance. You can also get pimples from not keeping your skin clean.
Try the soap though, you can get it from a supermarket, another good one for pimples is aftershave. I put a little dab on a pimple and it dries it out.

Glycerin soap can be purchased in with the facial creams and cleansers. It would be the only type of soap I would use on my face if I were to use it, but you really should not use soap at all it creates an imbalance in your skin which can be one of the causes of acne. I suggest washing your face in Noxzema. It will help balance your skin unlike regular soap which causes dry patches then oily patches.

I heard Basis soap is good for acne...it is in the skin care section at walmart.
