goign there for my bday, want soem suggestions for dishes/best seats--at the counter/table?

I haven't eaten at Benihana for years. I liked the banana tempura dessert and an appetizer with shrimp and steak. I haven't thought about Benihana for years. Thanks for the memory jog (very pleasant memories, btw)

It's teppan style dinning. The food is cooked right in front of you and the people at your table. There really isn't a counter or table, it's one in the same.

Just order what you like to eat, everything is very good. They mostly offer steaks, chicken and shell fish.

Green Tea Ice Cream.

Best seat is toward the middle so you can see what the chef is doing.
