Just something fun to try.

Open Windows standard sound recorder.
1. Start->Run. Type Sndrec32. Click OK.
2. Record something simple like "Hello" or your name.
3. Choose Menu Item "Effects", Click "Reverse".
4. Listen and try to mimic the way it sounds.
5. Record your voice the sound the way you mimic the reverse.
6. Choose Menu Item "Effects", Click "Reverse".
7. Play the recorded sound.

It sounds like you are handicapped.

Just bored. Thought I could actually post something useful and entertaining. I guess that is a bad thing?

It is hard to learn to speak backwards.
I suppose there is suttle nuonsances

that prevent it from sounding the right way.

It's just funny. Don't look to deeply into it.

Yeah, some people find it entertaining and get a kick out of it.
Some think it is a sign from the devil and are totally against it.

You just can't please all the people.
Gheesh!

I had to prove to myself all the hype about the so called "Devil" messages. None of which are even remotely true.

It's just fun to discover the messages and make some of your own as you have already noticed.

There are suttle nuonsase that make you sound "Handicapped". It is difficult to learn, just like any other language. It is just fun to play with.
I've never learned a whole song. Just little phrases.
Who would understand me anyways?

OMG!!!

You do this too? COOL!!!!
My little daughter and I make a game of it. We both think of a sentence, then we try to say it backwards as we record it. Then reverse it and play it to see who comes the closest.

I have this idea that I have yet to try but here it is:

Write a song. Then, using the technique you described above, practice learning how to sing the song backwards until it just sounds like a foreign language without the handicap. Carefully select percussion sounds that sound the same forwards as they do backwards - like a techno beat. And select instruments that also sound that way (may have to play them a certain way so that the attack on the notes/chords sound the same as the release...that way it won't sound backwards when reversed.

Then record the song with vocals. If it's done to perfection, you won't be able to tell which direction the song should be played - and the vocals will just sound foreign one direction and perfectly normal english when played in reverse. I think that would be a cool challenge! May try it wen I get the time.

What you have described is so much fun, I bet it would make a great Milton Bradley game if they found a way to market it.

VERY COOL IDEA!!!!

Only subordinate clauses are in the inverse form. If you speak a simple sentence, it's as in standard English, usually. Clues that the phrase is in inverse form are dass for one. German is far more structured than English. The pronunciation in German is a lot more simpler than in English. A few languages are easier to learn for the English speaker than German, such as Spanish, but again, that's largely up to the individual. At one time, scientific briefs were written in German because of the more preciseness of the language. There was less chance of a misunderstanding. Example: "Army demands change." Is it that the Army is demanding a change or that the demands of the Army have changed? In German, this is clear and not ambiguous. German's a great language and one that I've been trying to speak properly for the last several years.

Sounds like fun.
If some people are freaking out about it, it's that a lot of urban legends have gone around about certain rock music records, that, when played backward, say some horrible freaky, violent blasphemous things. I have known some people who say they have heard it. I still have trouble believing it.
But that has nothing to do with what you are talking about. I just wanted to let you know why you are getting some strange reactions.
EDIT:
Actually I am answering here to your following posting! That's what brought me back here. I have just gone over the responses and don't find anyone accusing you of doing anything devilish. Just freaking out about your word "handicapped". I bet they se that word every once in a while themselves.
If they have ever played golf, they have talked about their handicap.
It's certainly applicable in what you are talking about.

When I try your method I sound normal. Does that mean I am actually handicapped?

So, are you saying it's fun because it makes you sound handicapped, as though handicapped people are funny? How sweet.
