anyone heard of this? i wanna make it, i miss it.
she just cut slices of tomatoes, mixed with mayo, and added some dried herb (not quite sure what herb)

Sounds like the tomato salad my German husband makes. We dice the tomato's, add some chopped onions, and makes a dressing with mayo, a little vegetable oil, a little vinegar, parsley, dill, and a touch of sugar, salt and pepper. Mix together and enjoy.

sounds like your making a tomato sandwich, smothered in mayo ad a little of my favourite herb and eat and enjoy, don't forget the salt&pepper

Would it have been basil? Basil is used a lot with recipes with tomatoes in them. Smell the Basil & I'm sure you'll know if it is the one for it has a distinct odor.

Oregano goes well with tomatoes. I make sandwiches with sliced tomatoes, oreganno. mayonnaise salt and black pepper,Yummy!

I'm not sure but can make a suggestion. I'd use Itallian seasoning.
