My natural hair color is brown but I currently have blonde highlights. My roots have grown back a lot and I want to just dye my hair MYSELF a dark brown but NOT black. I just wanna cover up the blonde highlights right now. I'm scared there might be a red tint or something & I deff. do not want that. Does anyone know what color I should dye it with?

I think your choice of color is fine enough to cover those highlights...and since that your natural hair-color is brown, then the dye can easily blend with your hair strands and it will last way longer than any other colors...and dying it yourself is also a good move, because you have the power to control the whole entire procedure when dyeing your hair...

My mom always told me to never color my hair myself...it has got me through 40 years and was very good advice. Go to a professional...you may not get what you want if you don't!
