hey... any tips for a really good sleep? When laying in bed, it takes me at least an hour to fall asleep, and I must have my tv on to help stop thinking about things. This long process of falling asleep every night causes me to be very tired everyday, during school and everything else. Any good secrets to a very good sleep? (besides sleeping pills, i dont want to be dependent to a medecine)

I don't want to seem vulgar or anything, but if you sleep with a girl, you can go to sleep pretty easily, sorry lol.

I struggled with this for years, this is what I do:

position yourself in a position you can actually sleep in, not one of the "toss and turn" positions

Do not move from this position, for any reason.

Concentrate on relaxing your body, turn off the voices and replace them with a concentrated effort to relax from head to toe. For example I say in my mind "ok relaxing the crown of my head" ok "relaxing my forehead" all the way down to my toe nails, you will be surprised at the bunched up clenched stuff you have. Often something from work or family or whatever tries to but in so I say "ok ejecting non-sleep thought"

I usually get to my shoulders and fall asleep.

When really stressed and I can not get through the whole process, I think about cans of spilled paint and picture the colors, and imagine what color the mixed paint would make. Change the colors and imagine the new colors. think colors of paint and the new colors the mix will make.

hope this helps you, helped me.
