My mom has been on Tamoxifen for over 4 years and has endometrial thickening. She has stopped taking it now. One doctor said the thickness will never go down and poses an immediate health risk and she should have a hysterectomy immediately. Another doctor said not to worry about it, it will go down on it's own. Does anyone have more information on this?

tamoxifen does not have endometrial thickening as a side effect listed. Health risk would be determined by an abnormal endometrial biopsy. Stopping tamoxifen is a good idea, next she needs a repeat ultrasound in a few months to monitor the thickening again. otherwise see a gynecologist, good luck
