Cheating is essentially someone you are deeply attached to telling you that he or she is less in love with you than you are with him or her. It's demoralizing. It's disrespectful. And at the end of the day, there is little or nothing to be done about it.
In my case it was even worse. I ended up paying my ex-wife $911 every month for the honor of being married to a faithless tramp. On the bright side the second wife was more than I could have dreamt of and what the heck? It's not like I got an STD...

Are you the one cheating or have you been cheated on?
It hurts when someone cheats on you, because you thought they loved you, but if they can just go sleep with anyone and not think twice about it, you know that they must not really love you. I hope that you have not been cheating and if you have, then your time will be coming that you will lose the person that you love.

It only hurts if you let it. The first time my ex cheated on me it tore me apart, the second time it p*ssed me off and by the third I just stopped caring. I knew I wanted out of the relationship and just didn't care that he cheated anymore. With my current bf if I found out he was cheating I would just know he's an *** and I'd quit seeing him. The trick is how you see it. Don't take it personally, it's not about you it's about them showing you who they really are. Look at it as a gift, thanks for showing me how much I really mean to you. Now you know the true value of your relationship.

Being cheated on hurts because you feel unwanted and insufficient. Eventually, you have to come to the realization that you have to move on in your life, even through obvious pain. There is always someone you were meant for out there. Whatever happens stay optimistic and don't get depressed.

If you cheat in a game, it hurts the other team/person because you didn't deserve the price. If you cheat on a person, it hurts the person because they thought that you cared for them when you were only caring for somebody else.

Because its like you are loosing the thing that matters the most to you....especially if you are in love, you become attached and learn to trust your spouse and when they cheat you loose all of your trust and it makes you feel as if you were never loved by them in the first place....cheating is bad, and it is a sin that is hard to forgive......totally not a good idea....hurts like heck...=(

evidently you love the girl and she is very important to you! a word of advice would be to stop cheating and to go spend time with her because you do love her and the guilt is what hurts not the cheating.

Simple... yes I'll agree with everyone-guilt overcomes who you once were, but it's more than that. You're not only hurting your own image, but the feeling and mixing the emotions of others. Are you willing to allow that to happen? Or will you do something about it? Commitment is an amazing word-but cheating is piercing to our ears. Feel better bud.

Because it feels like your best was not good enough, if you were the one cheated on. And you feel like a loser who doesn't know a good thing when it knocks at your door, if you're the cheater. I answered both scenarios since you did'nt specify whether you were the cheater or the cheated.

Did you do the cheating or did someone do it to you?
When you cheat, you feel like sh1t because you have hurt someone who really cares about you and what's the fun in a fling if it aint honest?
If someone does it to you and you find out, it tears at your heart, breaks it and spits it out. But at least you find out about that person and can move on and find someone better.
