What year of vehicle is it? If it is new then you will pay more. Hopefully it is an early 90 version. You may want to try getting a quote online. I am paying less than ½ of what I was before.

Take care,

1) This question is asked several times PER HOUR, let alone a day, so look around and find out that all 17/18 year old new drivers are very lucky to get quotes below £3000 on anything. 2) The Peugeot 206 doesn't have a small engine, even if it didn't have the worst reliabilty of any car known to man. Once again questions regarding 206's breaking down are asked at least daily on this site, often more than once.

hey there dude, i was in the same situation 2 years ago when i bought my 94 grand Cherokee, (which i currently still have) insurance for me at that time was 220 a month!! i know thats crazy but if u still live with ur parents ask them so u can be in their policy (it will cost no more than 80 bucks a month), or if u can you could tell one of ur parents to get this jeep insured ONLY in their name, since they are at least 35 to 40 years old they will pay only about 50 bucks a month and it will still cover u if u ever crash (make sure u only get liability insurance). now that i'm 18, i'm paying 160 a month (liability) but they policy is only on my name since i live alone now. good luck buddy, in case u have a question u can feel free to email me or somthing. i really have experience on this, since i had to struggle a lot with insurance this last couple yrs.

Depends on how old/new the car is, where you live, your driving record, your grades, etc.

I reccomend progressive because they're awesome to work with- I got hit and they took care of EVERYTHING. Got me a rental and all.

I drive a '93 ford wagon and that's $55/month for me. If I added a 2000 Chevy Pickup, my insurance would be over $250/month.

Is the jeep 4WD? If so that's a discount as its considered a safety feature, if it has airbags its a safety feature, etc. Where you live depends on the insurance rates also due partially to vandalism and thefts.

nope--need more information. Location--city or country--miles driven per week--what is vehicle used mainly for, work or pleasure--how old is the vehicle--does it have any extra safety features on it--who will all be driving the vehicle--new licence--how many, if any citations against driver--full coverage or minimum coverage--amount chosen for deductibles.

All the above is used to calculate insurance costs The final cost will depend on your answers to the insurance company's questions.

Call some insurance companies to get some quotes. They'd be happy to tell you.

Probably around $150.00 a month, depending on how much is owed on the car.
