It's a topic that comes up often in History, and I don't know if a solution has been found yet, but why is it taking so long to come to a solution?

Here is why

Democrats will not do anything about it. Because they want uneducated voters to vote for them. When Simpson/Mizzoli was passed under Reagan, most of the illegals who were given amnesty voted Democrat. The uneducated voters tend to be Democrat.

Republicans will not do anything about it because the party has been taken over by elitists and big government panders. Pres Bush is the latter. Some businesses have bought and paid for the Republicans not to do anything.

Note the only group in the last Congress who was willing to do anything about this was the House Republicans. They lost their majority.

well they like to use the money as a problem, if they got rid of them they would be saving money. i would rather my go to send there free loading a$$es back where they came from. Of course the government officals dont really see it as a problem all they want to do is milk more money out of us to pay health care etc. theres more of use then there is afficals. i like how people put they do landscaping and do a good job at it and they do this job and that job. yeah thats find and well that may be the guess to some degree. yes the do work and im not going to knock them for that. but there is a lot of americans that do those same jobs that they do. but all of that is over looked. our government is blinded by the whole thing. they think we need these people here and we dont. this country won save a ton of money if we would just stop all the monkey business and beating around the bush something that we seem to be good out. there is easy solutions fro alot of things and this is one of them and it doesnt matter what there own people may say they will come up with this and that and saying how it wont work. how would they know they never gave it any thought nor do they want to. as long as they get there pay raise and there paychecks and find any and every way to make it hard on the citizens they will. they really dont care about there own people. and if the things contuine to ga as it is they will be dealing with more problems then i think they would be able to hand were getting the craps of this and no body is doing anything about but some towns thanks to there mayors that are listening to the people that there is a problem. we the people will take matters in our on hands adn deal with it our way. i think i'll stop now. it's our government for you well worry about others and there problem before are own. and it's called stop giving these people jobs etc.

Mexicans, specifically, are hard workers. Unfortunately, Americans think they are above doing the kind of work Mexicans are now doing. Most of the landscape work...grass cutting and bush trimming...in our area is done by Mexicans. Much of the day labor construction work is done by Mexicans. The work is done well. They don't lolly gag. They work a full day, arrive on time, and stay until the work day is finished.

I've heard students at the college where I work make fun of them and laugh at the jobs they themselves will not accept. They "dis" the workers and the work, but the Mexicans are working. These little white boys are not and mommy and daddy are paying for their cars, iPods, and clothes. They seem to think they should be hired for well-paying jobs but when they do find a job, they miss work, they come in late, leave early, and do a lousy job.

Bottom line...it's economics that are holding up the deportation of so many of the illegals.

Solution is easy, just that so far, we haven't elected someone
with a big enough pair to do it. Every illegal caught, would be tattooed, as such and sterilized. Everyone harboring illegals or
employing them, would lose their citizenship. Open bounty on
illegals to be paid in cash upon their safe return to Border Patrol.
Implement this into Law and the problem disappear.

No Matter where you live in the world, there will illegal immigrants will always exist. Perhaps we can minimize it, control it to a degree, but to moniter it in a fashion that would allow us to totally irradicate the problem is impossible.

Because if they totally close our borders - then the businesses they allowed to set-up shop there won't be able to return, there's probably tons of officials who have hispanic relatives and they more than likely employ them at their 'home town businesses'.

The problem is we are over run with wet backs and can no longer deport the lot of them like Eisenhower did. Bush loves wetbacks that is why he will not defend our southern border.

both parties hope to gain votes via illegal immigration. they are tripping all over themselves to accomodate illegals and to give them a "pathway to citizenship".
