I have read this on a lot of FOOD SUPPLEMENT LABELS....what does it REALLY mean?????

Supplements are not regulated by the FDA, thus they cannot claim to cure anything, treat anything or fix anything. Most of them have very little data to back them up and have no controlled studies to prove their efficacy. Thus, they have to put the disclaimer on, to let the consumer know that they are not legally allowed to say "cures baldness" or "increases energy" etc.
