at the speed setting of about 3.0 and incline at 1.0 -increasing the incline after 25minutes gradually to climb to bring up HR andintensity... still I can't do stationary bicycle or elliptical for more than 3-5minutes tops at easy level Also do circuit weights about 2x week plus outdoor walks in between. No medical problems, never smoked/non-drinker.Could lose about 10 more lbs or so,have lost 15lbs recently(slowly) and not falling off the wagon on that.

Try running about halfway into your walk for a while, maybe 5-10 minutes starting out. The key is to increase intensity not add distance. Eventually increase the amount you run. Also, I suggest doing more weights than you're doing, not circuit training but actual weights. Sounds to me like you have the cardio angle more or less covered but adding more weights will put you over the edge.

Running for 30 minutes at 1% incline is very good. I wouldn't be disappointed at all with that. If you want to increase your stamina & endurance, increase it by a few minutes every week. You could also run in the neighborhood 20 minutes away from your home...it's a trick I play on myself all the time...you'll more than likely run (not walk) home...making it a 40 min. workout!

Good luck!

There's a machine call the wave. It has the same motion as if you were skiing. 5 minutes on there is worth 20 minutes on the treadmill.. Works wonders!!!
