I have been having issues with this one tooth on the upper back right side of my mouth since i had a filling done on it four and a half months ago, I have been back to the dentist twice for oit to be looked at and he made minor adjustments and said that it looked fine,

Today i had the filling replaced, I think he put some coating or soemthing on it, WEll now it is like as sensetive as it has ever been, I had the filling done about 8 hours ago, Does this seem normal or do you think something is wrong here, WHat should i do?

getting a new filling today probably aggravated the nerve of the tooth. this is common. if in a few days the pain has not subsided, get xrays to see if you need a root canal.
