In Brazil, during a Mass, during the Communion ceremony, the Communion and wine turned to actual flesh and blood. Scientific tests (key word scientific) show that it was real human flesh, and the blood is AB positive. This is scientific evidence, i say again. If anyone does not believe me, look it up, if you want.

can you prove it was divine intervention?

listen... if your all powerful god resorts to that symbolic crap then he isnt worthy of being worshipped.

he could end all this if he simply popped in and said "hi....whats up"

but noOOOooo!

I'd love to look it up. Please provide a link to a reputable source.

Some items come to mind though:

First is that the Catholic church regards the communion wafer and wine so sacred that I don't think they would allow scientific testing on something that they regard to be the actual body and blood of Christ.

Second is that one would need to have a highly regarded chain of evidence to show that real flesh and blood weren't substituted for what was communion wine and a wafer.

The idea of transubstantiation doesn't imply that the physical properties of wine and bread are physically changed to flesh and blood, but that the substance is changed. In ancient philosophy, there was substance and accidence. The accidence is the physical properties that we can see and touch. The substance is the material behind what we can see and touch and measure. Therefore, even accoring to church dogma, a scientist wouldn't see flesh and blood.

If you have some actual evidence though, please post the details, along with the Church's acceptance of such, and I'd be glad to see it.

What makes you think the oriest hadn't brought actual flesh and actual blood BEFORE the ceremony? So many people want to believe, and so many people want other people to believe...

Sorry, this is no proof. And as the first perosn said, I'd rather he had prevented the tsunami or had stopped AIDS in Africa than do that. Don't you think it would have been a tad bit more useful?

I am a Christian, and I don't think what happened during that Communion is proof that there is a God.

During communion the bread and wine are symbols of Christ's body and blood. They do not literally turn into such. I am not saying it did not happen, but I would be wary of why it did happen.

Divine interventions would be but these are always nothing more than hoaxes pure and simple .There is always scientific
fraud before someone qualified shows the real truth .look at the history of such and you will find they have people that devote their entire lives to defrauding the people in this way. Grow up friend your fairytales are just contrived frauds .

Toby: Throughout history, God has chosen specific times and places to intervene in the affairs of man to promote His Devine Plan and to ensure its objective. As far as, the Communion "miracle" you have cited as evidence of God's existence, even, I would regard that with a "grain of salt".

Well I look forward to the paper in Nature.

It is easy to make a claim like that but there is no (key word no) source listed here. No peer reviewed paper, no name of the lab. Nothing. These always (key word always) turn out just to be garbage claims.

It could be proof that Satan exists too. Think about it, would you drink human blood and eat human flesh if a voice from the sky said, "Eat this human flesh, and drink this blood!"

Yes and that was proven to be a hokes, and the church still cannot accept the truth, they will always use divine intervention as their excuse to say God exists.

I would be careful on who or what caused those miracles. The Bible says that in the End Times, Satan will creats signs and wonders that will fool even the very elect. Find out what the Bible says about this before believing that this was done by the Creator!
