Now, CABLE and SATELLITE do not fall under the FCC's jurisdiction, so they are immune to these rulings.....
Which means they can send LO-DEF NTSC signals out for the next 200 years if they choose.....

The fact is the market will dictate when Cable and Satellite switch over to FULL HD and they no longer carry the SD stations...

Yes this is true. By the end of 2008 all analog broadcast channels will be digital and or HD. You will still be able to use your analog TV but you will have to get a Digital Television Tuner box to pick up the local digital channels in your area. Most local stations and the major networks like ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX already have there channels split into two signals, one for the "over the air" televisions like the ones you are speaking of and the Digital and Hi Definition signals for the new TVs with those capabilities.
