I have recently closed my checking account because some movie sites and credit card companies took it upon themselves to withdraw funds from my account without my permission and also did not know these movie sites after a trial period would continue to take money out when I didn't even know I was a member. I never went past the trial period that I knew of and if I was charged all had a phone number, reimbursed me except for this one site and now they have somehow managed to get money from my mothers' account. My name is on her account but she was not conntected with my debit card as I couldn't get money out of her account with my debit card If anyone knows how I can stop this other than contacting the bank, I would appreciate any help.

I have contacted my bank with a message as the banks are closed so it will be tomorrow before I hear from them. This particular billing agent that has taken the money from my mother's account has no phone no and I don't even know which site I'm being charged for. I have done everything that you folks have suggested. Thanks for your answers.

I have all my answers. The bank told me what to do - beware all of some of the sites that you might visit. I can't figure out about this particular site but I went back into my account and they've been taking money out since last Nov., I've been having health problems but don't know how I could have missed or overlooked this but then I have trouble with my memory. Just stay away from undesirable movie sites, folks You can't trust them even if you unsubscribe or cancel your membership which I seldom ever did more than a trial period; If I want to persue it, I have to contact the FTC which I don't want to do since I can't remember about anything about this billing site - they are from the Netherlands so becareful and don't be foolish as I evidentley have been

You need to contact the bank and the originator of your debit card. You probably will have to close the accounts and change your debit card. This is the reason that I let no one have access to my checking account. It is really a very hard thing to get stopped.

Unfortunately, contacting your bank, or the company making the withdrawals is the only way to get this fix.
Best of luck mate.

if you don't want to contact the bank (which would solve your problem immediately), it looks like the charges may not be so fraudulent after all.., sorry
